Islamabad is located in the north-west region of Pakistan and is close to the borders with Afghanistan and China.

Islamabad was founded in 1748 by Mir Qasim Khan Durrani, who became the first Muslim ruler of British India. The city quickly grew into a major centre for education, commerce, politics, and culture. Today, Islamabad is a modern city with many impressive landmarks and attractions.

The primary attraction in Islamabad is the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, which is one of the largest mosques in the world. Other popular attractions include the Margalla Hills National Park and Gardens, Lake Saif Uddin, Lal Masjid Fort, Palais Royal Hotel, Murree Garden Estate, and many other museums and galleries.

Islamabad also has an excellent infrastructure that includes several universities, hospitals, shopping malls, cinemas, parks and gardens. The city is well connected to other parts of Pakistan by roadways as well as airways.

The Best Places to Live in Islamabad

Islamabad has always been one of the most thriving and cosmopolitan cities in Pakistan. With a population of over 8 million, it offers an excellent range of lifestyle options for its residents. From colonial-era neighborhoods to bustling nightlife districts, Islamabad has it all.

Some of the best places to live in Islamabad include Gulberg, Lohar Park, Garden City and Saddar Town. Gulberg is home to some of the city's most expensive real estate and offers a quiet environment with plenty of amenities nearby. Lohar Park is home to numerous upscale restaurants and shopping malls, making it a popular choice for those who want to live in central Islamabad. Garden City is a leafy suburban area that offers both contemporary and traditional architecture, as well as several parks and playgrounds. Saddar Town is located close to the capital's commercial center and features many residential complexes and shopping areas.

Islamabad also boasts several highly rated suburbs such as Chakwal, Inderlok, Islamkot, Katlang and Sharae Faisal. Chakwal is known for its hilly landscape and picturesque villages, while Inderlok is home to some of the city's largest industrial estates. Islamkot hosts several luxury resorts as well as golf courses, making it a popular destination for affluent Karachi expatriates. How Much Does It Cost to Live in Islamabad?

There is no definitive answer to this question as prices can vary greatly depending on the type of accommodation and the amenities that are included. However, here are some rough estimates for monthly living costs in Islamabad:

-A furnished one-bedroom apartment in a popular district such as Gulberg or Iqbal City will cost around Rs. 10,000-15,000 (US$ 150-250) per month.
-A three-bedroom apartment in a more upscale area such as Gulshan-e-Iqbal or Landhi Town will cost around Rs. 25,000 (US$ 350) - Rs. 35,000 (US$ 450) per month.
-Renting an entire house can be cheaper than renting an apartment if you're looking for more space and privacy. A two bedroom house will typically cost Rs. 40,000 (US$ 560) - Rs. 60,000 (US$ 800) per month.

In general, it's important to keep in mind that living costs in Islamabad vary significantly depending on the area you choose to live in and the amenities that are available.
