On April 1st Twitch streamer Seki made an impressive performance in FromSoftware's Elden Ring. After many attempts and hours of practice Seki became an expert and completed what appears to Elden Ring Runes be the world's first recorded no-hit/no-damage run on Elden Ring.
Seki's run, which was no-hit and damage-free, took less than 3 hours to complete and was broadcast live on stream after which he shared the photo of his win just afterward on Twitter exuberantly announcing the good news. In his tweet, Seki declared that the remarkable run was a "world's first." Some have questioned the validity of this claim and pointed at an earlier race by streamer GinoMachino who was running on March 13. However, even though GinoMachino was able to complete Elden Ring without taking any hits, his run is quite different from the one Seki was able to accomplish.
"No-Hit/No Damage is harder than a regular no-hit runner because the player isn't able to take environmental damage, such as fall damage/poison etc," Seki explained to MMOexp. "This makes it more difficult to run as I don't have access to buffs like Red-Feathered branchswords that could increase the damage output of cheap Elden Ring Runes my character if I had low health."
