Loceryl Nail Lacquer Use, Works, Effects

The active ingredient Amorolfine nail varnish is applied directly on the affected nail. This allows the active ingredient to penetrate the nail and reach the area where it is needed to kill the fungus.

Loceryl

Amorolfine nail polish kills fungi. Locery is another brand that sells it. Amorolfine, also known as the hydrochloride( Loceryl Nail Lacquer), is the active ingredient and is part of the antifungal group. It is effective in killing many fungi that can cause nail infections.

It can affect as many as 70% of the population. These infections are most common in places like saunas and swimming pools, where feet can walk on damp ground. However, they can also be caused when your immune system is weak or shoes that restrict airflow. The cause is basically warmth and damp. It can take some time for fungal nail infections to clear up. However, if they are not complicated it isn't serious and can be treated at home. A fungal nail infection can cause serious complications if you have a weak immune system or diabetes.

What is Amorolfine?

Amorolfine nail varnish kills fungi. It's also known as Loceryl nail varnish and the active ingredient is amorolfine (as hydrochloride). This drug is part of the antifungal class of drugs. It is effective in killing many fungi that can cause nail infections.

Amorolfine nail lacquer also contains methacrylic acid copolymer and glycerol Triacetate.

Loceryl or Amorolfine comes in a small bottle. In the package, you will find cleaning swabs and nail files. You can also find a spatula inside the cap, or an additional spatula, to ensure you are using the product correctly.

Because nails can be difficult to grow and are slow to heal, it is challenging to treat a fungal nail infection. This is why nail files are needed to assist Amorolfine in reaching the root of the infection. It will penetrate cell membranes and cause them to die.

What is the best time to use Amorolfine nail varnish?

Loceryl or Amorolfine is used to treat fungal nail infection. It can be used on both the fingernails as well as the toenails. Amorolfine is effective in treating many fungi that can cause nail infections.

Here are some points to keep in mind about fungal nail infections

  • A discolouration of the nails is a sign of infection. It will turn yellow, brown, or white.
  • The infection typically starts around the edges of the nail, and then spreads to the middle.
  • The infected nail will also begin to thicken.
  • The nail will then become fragile and crack or crumble easily.
  • Because the root cause of the infection lies in the nail bed, treatment can be slow as it is difficult for any product to reach the nail.
  • The infection can cause pain, swelling, and itching around your nails if left untreated. Untreated athlete's feet can result in a fungal nail infection.

Infectious fungal nail infections can often be contracted in damp, warm places such as public swimming pools and saunas. Wearing flip-flops, or a special socks, may help prevent them from spreading to you.

Fungal nail infections can be contagious. To prevent infection spreading to others, make sure you wash your feet with soap.

What is the best way to use Amorolfine

Use Amorolfine and Loceryl as directed by your pharmacist. If you aren't sure, consult your doctor before you start to use Loceryl.

Apply Loceryl directly to the affected finger/toenail.

  • Before you begin, make sure you have all the necessary items, including the nail file, cleanser, applicator, and Loceryl nail lacquer.
  • Take one of the file packs and use it to begin to file down infected areas, including the nail surface.
  • Use nail files that were used to infect nails on healthy nails only.
  • To prevent infection spreading, never share your nail files.
  • After you've done that, take one of your swabs out of your pack. Use the swab carefully to clean the nail.
  • Each infected nail should be filed and cleaned separately
  • After you are done filing and cleaning your nails, take out the applicator. Dip it in the Loceryl nail lacquer.
  • Apply the Amorolfine nail varnish evenly to any infected nails.
  • Avoid putting Amorolfine on your skin around the nails as it can cause irritation.
  • Allow the nail to dry for three minutes in open air before covering it.
  • Apply cosmetic nail varnish to the top of your nails by waiting at least 10 minutes following application of Amorolfine nail lacquer.
  • After you are done, wash the applicator well and put it away until next time.
  • Use the same swab to clean nails.
  • Close the bottle tight and discard the swab after you're done. It is highly flammable.
  • This process will be repeated once or twice per week.
  • Remove any nail varnish and lacquer before you use Amorolfinel once more.
