Raffle ticket printing is a great way to raise money for a cause or event. It is important to get help from volunteers to sell the tickets. Make sure they have enough tickets to handle and encourage them by praising those who do a good job.

It is also a good idea to number the tickets. This makes it easier for the volunteers to keep track of them.

Choose a template.

There are lots of options when it comes to choosing a template for your raffle tickets. Look for a design that matches your event and reflects its style or theme. You can also choose a template that will allow you to record the ticket buyer’s name, as this helps avoid fraud.

Make sure that your ticket template is sized to fit the paper you’ll be using. It’s a good idea to use a heavier, thicker paper stock than regular printer paper, and preferably something coloured to help distinguish your tickets from counterfeit copies.

You can easily add images to your ticket or cover design by right clicking on an image on a website (that you have permission to use) and selecting Copy then choosing Paste Image to set it as the background of your ticket. You can re-size, move and stretch the image by clicking and dragging or by rolling your mouse-wheel. You can also save any image as a background by right clicking and selecting Save Image.

Design your ticket.

When it comes to designing your ticket you can make one on your own or use a pre-designed template. The ticket itself should have the unique number printed on two parts, one that the participant keeps and one that will be mixed in with the stub of the tombola or revolving drum.

You can design your ticket using software such as Microsoft Word or more graphics-oriented programs such as Adobe InDesign. Alternatively, there are websites that allow you to create tickets online. These websites typically offer a variety of pre-designed templates to choose from and also provide options for data merging and sequential numbering.

Regardless of the method you choose to use, it’s important that all the required information is included on the ticket, such as the organization name, event details, and prize information. Additionally, the ticket should include the entrant’s raffle entry number, which can be generated automatically or entered by hand. Keeping track of entrants and their numbers is essential to ensure the integrity of the raffle.

Print your ticket.

For larger raffles, it may be worth hiring a company to manufacture your tickets. It will reduce the work load for your volunteers and can help avoid any potential ticket fraud issues. You can find many online outlets that specialize in ticket manufacturing. Compare prices to find the best deal for you.

If you are hosting a smaller-sized raffle, you can print your own numbered tickets on plain white paper. Some people prefer this option because it allows them to write the number by hand. However, this can be a time-consuming ordeal.

Other people prefer to use a design-based software program to create their numbered tickets. This can be a bit more difficult, but gives you some flexibility. Most of these programs support data merge to generate the ticket numbers. They also have more layout options than Word, so you can make your tickets look more professional. You can also find many templates on the internet that are a good choice for creating numbered tickets.

Check your ticket.

We recommend printing a few test sheets to make sure your tickets print correctly and the numbering is aligned before running your entire job. If you have a large amount of tickets to print, it’s also helpful to use a guillotine paper cutter or scissors to chop up the sheet into individual tickets.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Ticket sales are non-refundable and all sales are final. Tickets are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions. Entry is void where prohibited by law. Please keep a copy of your receipt for future reference.

You can choose whether or not your raffle ticket numbers are excluded from the event capacity by selecting the option to Exclude from Event Capacity. This would prevent attendees from purchasing tickets once the overall capacity is reached. If an order is canceled that includes raffle tickets, the ticket numbers will be removed from the sequence in your exports and the range of active raffle numbers will increase.
