But due to licensing issues and a hip injury in the 90 NFL season, which forced him to take an early retirement from football. Jackson didn't appear in Madden during his playing days. In 2014, Jackson first made his Madden first appearance in Madden as a special edition participant as part of"the Ultimate Team game mode.

EA Sports also teamed up with Nike to revive the company's iconic Bo Knows ad campaign by incorporating a digitally rendered version of his signature shoes which is that of the Nike Air Bo Turf to the gaming.
