He was selected by Louisville at the age of 15 and then he resisted Harvard for the same reason. He played football in college when he reached the age of 16. He graduated early. He made the second team All-American at the age of 19. He was a rock on his shoulders and was a dazzling athletic for his age and the idea of what he could become was amazing. But at a certain stage, should we be over-emphasizing the player's potential in lieu of what he is? Would Okoye actually have been better off in the third-round as an experiment to play on a regular basis when he's 23 or 24 instead of 20?

However, the Texans overlooked his age and picked in his place, while ignoring the players they selected, which included Patrick Willis, Marshawn Lynch along with Darrelle Revis. What do you think of the Texans today with Willis as well as Revis?

Honorable Honourable Troy Williamson went to the Vikings three selections ahead of Williams. Honorable Mention: It's difficult to argue that the Cardinals did an awful thing when they chose Matt Leinart with the 10th overall selection in 2006 In the end, you'll need a quarterback in this league, and Kurt Warner was just going to keep the place warm. But would due diligence to the commitment of Leinart prompted them to go another direction? Such as Jay Cutler, Haloti Ngata, Kamerion Wimbley, or Chad Greenway? or really, anyone who hasn't made just 18 starts in six years.

Where is Jason Smith?
