The Associate Network Engineer should work with network support vendors and OEM’s to ensure the designs are as per the Service-level agreements.

The primary responsibility of the Associate Network Engineer to update the technical standards and strategic technical roadmaps. The professionals must take care of the network engineering policies, and operations that include network programmability. The Network Engineer has to act as backup for the LAN/WAN and Firewall teams whenever required. They must install, monitor, and maintain the LAN infrastructure. The professional should make sure smooth and proper functionality of the network system.

The Associate Network Engineer takes care of the hardware components and others such as cabling and wiring. The professionals provide the necessary technical assistance needed for installation and maintenance of WAN infrastructure. They examine and network capacity and implement network tools. The Network Engineer recognizes and resolves network hardware and software problems. They set up user accounts and passwords, and protect access to confidential data.

The Associate Network Engineer will be the primary contact for all manufacturing tool hookups and other technical issues. They are the contact for the network team and will handle fielding issues. The professionals escalate the problems depending on the complexity. The Network Engineer takes care of both customer and internal corporate networks. They rectify issues related to switches, routers, and firewalls. The professionals will work in collaboration with the systems administration team on issues such as inter-connectivity, storage, backup solutions, and on-demand virtualized servers. They ensure optimal performance and play an essential role in the life-cycle of design and implementation.
