One of these surprises may have already been discovered. If you look closely WoTLK Gold, you'll notice that one of the mount ideas that didn't get enough votes--the caterpillar--actually has a home on top of Wandering Ancient mount. The bug is positioned in the position that suggests that he's in control of the mount, which is nice.

In conjunction with BlizzConline the studio also released an in-depth trailer for Wandering Ancient in which developers from various disciplines share their experiences on what they did to bring the model to games from very beginning, to the final model. It's a great video that really shows how unique and unique the model is. You can watch the video here.

The Wandering Ancient isn't the only new mount available to Shadowlands with the Chains of Domination update. You'll also get new flying mounts.

Chains of Domination is the first major update for Shadowlands since the expansion launched last year. The expansion will include a brand-new 10-boss raid, a eight-boss mega-dungeon which will feature an additional Hard mode, PvP content, modifications to the Maw and more. In terms of story players will finally be able to take on Sylvanas who is a war that's been going on for a long time.
