Seriously. Sure, he's a center, and Madden 23 coins that's an undervalued position however, Linderbaum is a plug-andplay decade-plus player who is likely to rack up several Pro Bowls in the process.

This mock has him going to the Jaguars as the number one pick from the round 2. The issue I have is that I can't imagine a smart, well-managed playoff team that doesn't take this opportunity to secure that middle position of the line -- even if it's not an immediate necessity.

Linderbaum is just too good for this to happen.

It's true that it's a second round pick -- however, I think this would be an issue.

To my eyes, Seattle seems intimately aware of the future and is aware that they'll become a disappointing team in 2022. In fact, I envy the way they're playing. They are a team that is playing to add depth and have made an impact in the QB-rich atmosphere of the 2023 Madden NFL 23 Draft.

Corral feels like a needless waste in a draft this deep. The water also gets muddy in the coming year. If you're not planning to start with him right away to assess, you're throwing away a selection now and making it extremely difficult to justify a quarterback next year.

I'm not sure I can see Seattle falling into this trap, especially with still a lot of talent on the board. Kaiir Elam is still there, Skyy Moore is still available. How could you not take advantage of two potential construction blocks to go with a quarterback who may not even be a candidate in a year?

We're getting closer and closer to the Madden NFL 23 Draft and on Tuesday Todd McShay published his latest mock draft that features two rounds and some shocking surprise.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to mix NFL 23ate "surprises" with "wrong." What I've seen in this mock is likely to occur, and there's number of reasons to each selection. That said, as a Carolina Panthers fan, I may spit in my mouth in the event Kennt Pickett gets picked at No. six overall, but I'm getting off track.

Go to ESPN to read the complete breakdown, but here's the main things that jumped out at me.

McShay isn't first to see Walker rising up the rankings. Heck, even on Madden NFL 23.com Charles Davis has him going with the first pick in the Jaguars. However, it's quite surprising to find Walker selecting the no. 2 overall pick towards the Lions.

It's not that this would be a bad decision however it's to much of an consolation prize for me. Detroit is obviously in need of pass rush help The ideal possible scenario would be that Aidan Hutchinson is on the list for them If he's gone would they really choose to miss more assured things at other positions to risk in the event of an upside defensive line?

Personally, I don't think that. I respect the pick, and buying madden coins I think Walker will be very good however, I don't think the Lions are in a situation to build a solid base. I'd like to see them choose a top defensive back or wide receiver, even if there isn't an immediate pressing need, in contrast to. seeking to force the pass rusher.
