The Cleric's AoE skill Holy Purification is incredibly powerful in Dark And Darker Gold this fight. It helps clear the Skeleton Army quickly, allowing you to focus on moving clockwise and DPSing the boss down. If you plan to go down to Inferno to fight bosses, make sure the Cleric brings Holy Purification.

Dark and Darker Curses

At a certain health threshold, the Lich will cast one of two curses: Isolation or Gathering. It's essential to adhere to the mechanics of these curses; failing to do so will quickly wipe your entire party. If you see a blue circle appear, it's the Curse of Isolation. The targeted player needs to have no additional players or mobs within the circle. The curse deals a small chunk of damage, but having no additional bodies in the circle allows you to take the least amount of damage possible. Stay far away from mob aggro or other players.

If you are targeted with a purple circle, it's the Curse of Gathering cheapest Dark And Darker Gold. This curse requires the player to gather as many players and/or mobs inside the circle as possible. It's recommended to keep a few Skeleton Guardsman alive to get maximum bodies in the circle and take nearly no damage. You can also use the Lich in this mechanic.
