About Andhra University Distance Education
Andhra University is one of the oldest universities that has established an international image in academic excellence. School of Distance Education Andhra University, a core of this University, started on 1 July 1972, has been one of the initiating institutions in the field of Higher Education. Andhra University Distance Education Approved By NAAC with an ‘A’ grade. It has been attempting to extend the reach of higher education to various sections of society located in contrasting geographical areas in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Students of this initiating institution study the same syllabus and are subject to the same regulations as those of the regular students of Andhra University. Originally B.A. and B.Com. courses were offered with the guidance of UGC. Liberalized admission into B.A. / B.Com. Courses under the open system were introduced in 1976. Eligibility Criteria
