The Casey Jones House and Railroad Museum

Visit Casey Jones' historic home, then stroll over to the railroad museum next door. This is where you can learn all about America's folk hero of the locomotive, as memorialised in song.
Watch a short film about Casey the engineer, who saved the lives of others while losing his own in a head-on train collision. Visit the Jackson Room to learn about the railroad's role in Jackson's history. Stop by the exhibit that explains the significance of railroads in Tennessee during the Civil War.

When children see the 35-ton locomotive modelled after Casey's famous engine, they may be tempted to climb aboard and play the role of the train's conductor. They are invited to ring the bell. Casey Jones died with one hand on the whistle and the other on the brake, according to legend.
The Casey Jones Home Railroad Museum has incorporated the N C St. L Depot Railroad Museum (which stands for Nashville, Chattanooga, and St. Louis). The exhibition space is 8,000 square feet. If you like railroads, get ready for a fascinating trip down rail memory lane.

Visit Rusty's TV Movie Car Museum.

To think it all began when Rusty Robinson picked up a crayon and drew his first car drawing. Rusty had his first car, a blue '66 Mustang Coupe, when he was 14 years old. Rusty now owns and operates a museum featuring 50 cars, trucks, and motorcycles from movies and television shows.

Visit the museum to see what you recognise and to learn more about Rusty's favourite vehicles. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays, with the last tour at 4:30 p.m.
